Snowmobile collision
The Traffic Management Unit of the Greater Sudbury Police Service is investigating a fatal collision on Ramsay Lake involving a snowmobile, which occurred just after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday February 7th 2010.

Motor Vehicle Collision
On the 5th of February 2010, at 9:14 pm, Greater Sudbury Police responded to motor vehicle collision on M.R. 80 between Centennial Drive and Frost Street in the Hanmer area.

Suspended Driver
Shortly after 2 am on the 5th of February 2010, uniformed officers of the Greater Sudbury Police observed a vehicle driving erratically on Louis Street in Sudbury.

Fatal Fire
The investigation continues into the fatal fire at 720 Bruce St. in Sudbury. The scene has not yet been released as the Fire Marshall’s Office and the GSPS are still collecting evidence to confirm the cause of the fire.

Apartment Fire
Sudbury Fire Services responded to a fire call at 720 Bruce Street at approximately 8:20 PM on Feb. 3, 2010. Greater Sudbury Police Service along with EMS also attended the scene to assist with the evacuation, possible injured parties and traffic control. Sudbury transit was also called upon to assist by providing buses as temporary shelter to residents of the apartment building.

Break and Enter
GSPS Uniform Division officers responded to a report of a break and enter in progress to a Laforest St. residence on Feb. 3, 2010 at 7:20 a.m.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service continues the investigation of a disturbance on Bridge St. in Chelmsford that resulted in a barricaded person call.
