As part of its Student Program, the Greater Sudbury Police Service offers summer job opportunities to university, college and high school students. The purpose of these placements is to provide students with an opportunity to learn about the Greater Sudbury Police Service and its role in the community, as well as to gain experience and develop new skills.
To be considered for student employment, you must be:
- 16 years of age or older by the date of employment;
- currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution; and
- registered for full-time studies in the fall.

You'll be contacted only if you're short-listed as a qualified candidate. You'll then be offered an opportunity to move onto the next phase of the selection process. Successful candidates are required to pass a criminal record and background check. Most positions start at the end of June for an 8 week duration.
